Arsenal fans will love what Jadon Sancho has said about his connection to Unai Emery's squad

Borussia Dortmund and England winger Jadon Sancho has said that he hopes to play with 'best friend' Reiss Nelson at some point in his career.

Sancho is one of the brightest young talents in European football and is likely to be at the center of transfer speculation throughout the January transfer window.

The 19-year-old currently plays for German side Borussia Dortmund, where he has scored three and assisted six goals in nine appearances in the Bundesliga so far this season.

His previous form earned him a call up to the national England side in October 2018 and he has gone onto earn a further 10 caps under Gareth Southgate.

During the international break, Sancho and Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson were pictured together, causing excitement among Gunners' fans , and now Sancho's comments on his friend will only raise that excitement.

During a feature on Match of the Day Kickabout , Sancho describes Nelson as his 'best friend'.

"Around six, we first met, from there we just connected and bonded, Sancho added.

"He's a great player and hopefully we can play with each other one day."

Sancho has been linked with a move back to the Premier League in recent months, with Chelsea one possible destination for the 19-year-old, so should Arsenal wish to bring him and Nelson together then they will have to move quickly.
