Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli has insisted he has received no approaches from Real Madrid, amid reports of the La Liga giants expressing an interest in his services.
The 18-year-old moved to the Emirates Stadium last summer and has quickly made an impression, hitting double figures in all competitions and breaking into the first-team fold.
That has sparked reports of interest from Real Madrid, with the suggestion that Arsenal are now scrambling to secure the teenager down to an improved contract.
However, Martinelli has stated that the club have nothing to worry about as he is focused on his football and has not been approached by Los Blancos.
"No, nothing has come to me. I am focused here doing my job at Arsenal and my head is here," he told Marca when asked if contact from the Spanish giants had been made.
Real already boast a strong contingent of young Brazilian players with Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and Reinier in Zinedine Zidane's squad and Martinelli knows Rodrygo well.
"I played against him a few times in futsal when we were sub 9 and sub 11," he said.
"I played in Corinthians and he played in Santos. Then we met in the last pre-season in the United States. We met because Real Madrid and Arsenal were facing each other.
"I was with him and Vinicius and we talked for a while. He is a boy who deserves everything good that is happening to him. He was always very humble. I wish him well."
Martinelli could link up with the Real Madrid trio on international duty but has a decision to make, as he is eligible to feature for both Brazil and Italy.
