Arsenal fans will love what Aubameyang, Torreira and Sokratis did at full time in West Ham win

Freddie Ljungberg claimed his first win as Arsenal's interim head coach with a second half turnaround away at West Ham.

Without a league win in just over two months, fans have been starved of joy lately but goals from Gabriel Martinelli, Nicolas Pepe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang changed that at the London Stadium.

Martinelli and Pepe scoring on their first starts under Ljungberg changed the mood of the night drastically before Aubameyang added the cherry on top.

The Gunners are now seven points off the Champions League places and although it may not seem like it, a win at West Ham was vital for the side.

West Ham v Arsenal: Manuel Pellegrini press conference in full

Following the dramatic turnaround, the Arsenal fans were in full voice, basking in a rare victory.

A contrast to recent weeks, they were given a result to be happy about. As full time approached, they sung "We are staying up!" in a joking manner before the real celebrations began.

Experiencing such difficult times recently, Arsenal players haven't been as connected with the fans as they once were.

But after digging out a crucial victory in a London derby, they showed their appreciation of the support from the fans by heading over to the away section and giving away their shirts.

Club captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Lucas Torreira and Sokratis were amongst the players that went over to celebrate with the travelling fans.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles also wanted to but was instructed to head to the dressing room and hugged Per Mertesacker as he left the pitch.

A complete contrast to the scenes at Emriates Stadium after the Brighton match, where Mesut Ozil was seen berating somebody as he left the pitch, a sense of relief covered the Arsenal players.

Saving themselves from another embarrassing loss, they will look to use this as a springboard for the next bunch of games but it won't be easy.

The Gunners face Manchester City next before a stretch which ends with games against Chelsea and Manchester United. It won't get easier for Ljungberg, but he's made the first step forward in getting that first win under his belt.
