Alex Iwobi has spoken out about Tottenham Hotspur's Champions League hopes, saying that he hopes that his rivals lose to Liverpool.
The Arsenal man is currently preparing for a European final of his own, with the Gunners preparing to take on Chelsea in the Europa League showpiece event in Baku next week.
The stakes are high for Unai Emery's side, with victory over the Blues seeing them qualify for next season's Champions League.
But while this season's Champions League final has obviously got the football world talking, Iwobi said that he hopes their north London rivals fall short when they take on Jurgen Klopp's side on June 1.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "We're not trying to focus on Tottenham to be fair, I actually hope they lose.
"We're not trying to look at them, they've done well to be fair, you have to give it to them, but we want to focus on ourselves and bring a trophy back."
