Arsenal fans will love Gary Lineker verdict on Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah after Everton win

Gary Lineker has heaped praise on Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah after they combined for one of the Gunners' goals against Everton.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin opened the scoring for Everton with an overhead kick but Arsenal hit back when Nketiah converted Saka's cross.

Saka looked to be going down a blind alley on the left before he produced a wonderful cross from deep which found Nketiah, who connected with a neat finish for the goal.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang put Arsenal in front shortly after but Richarlison hit back before the break.

Arsenal v Everton: Carlo Ancelotti press conference

Aubameyang restored the Gunners' advantage after the break as Mikel Arteta's side prevailed 3-2 but it was the moment which Saka helped provide that had Lineker speaking out on social media.

Lineker tweeted: "Wonderful cross from the very exciting young talent that is Bukayo Saka. Expertly finished too by Eddie Nketiah."

Saka made his Premier League debut for Arsenal last term but it's this season under Arteta which has seen the 18-year-old really ascend at the club.

He has now played 17 league games to date and assisted three goals for the Gunners in the process.

Whilst he didn't start the contest against Everton, an injury to Sead Kolasinac paved the way for the teenager's impact off the bench.
