Arsenal fans voice their one concern amid Philippe Coutinho transfer claims

Arsenal fans have one tiny concern over their mooted loan deal for Philippe Coutinho - he's not a centre-back.

The Gunners have made four signings so far this summer, landing young striker Gabriel Martinelli, defender William Saliba - who has been sent back to Saint-Etienne on loan - midfielder Dani Ceballos and forward Nicolas Pepe.

The signings are all well and good but Arsenal are expecting to lose Laurent Koscielny this week, leaving them with very little quality at the back.

And supporters of the north London club are understandably worried they're going to leak too many goals this season, despite their attack looking formidable.

"Getting Coutinho instead of a defender would be the most Arsenal thing ever," wrote one fan, while another added: "It's awesome to be linked with Coutinho.

"But Arsenal, is there any chance of signing a defender so I can stop watching from behind the sofa?"

A third said: "What? Arsenal linked with Coutinho? Where is this money coming from please tell me? And why aren't they spending it on a defender?"

And a fourth concluded: "Coutinho to Arsenal? Wow! That's great. But hold on. Aren't we supposed to be signing some defenders?"

Arsenal are set to hold talks with Barcelona officials on Sunday, around the Joan Gammper Trophy, over a loan deal for Coutinho.
