Mikel Arteta recalls Matteo Guendouzi to Arsenal training
The future of Matteo Guendouzi remains an uncertain one.
The former Lorient midfielder has endured a strained relationship with Mikel Arteta of late, and it has seen links surface to Paris Saint-Germain. Now the Frenchman has been spotted in Arsenal training thanks to a video clip uploaded by @footballdaily on Twitter.
Guendouzi can be seen very early on as he’s standing next to summer signing Willian.
This could be seen as a considerable development in the situation surrounding Guendouzi.
The Athletic, reported in July that the 21-year-old had been removed from first-team training, and his return could signal the pair have mended their relationship.

Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin price tag as Barcelona transfer talks ‘take place’
Arsenal have held talks with Barcelona regarding a deal for Hector Bellerin, according to reports.
As revealed by football.london Bayern Munich were interested in the right-back, as the Spaniard considers his future at the Emirates.
This has been added to be Spanish outlet Sport, who claim that Barcelona are interested in Bellerin and have spoken to Arsenal technical director Edu.
It’s believed Arsenal could ask for a fee in the region of £35million, although some have anticipated a deal being closer to £30million.
William Saliba transfer theory
Arsenal fans have excitedly taken to social media in the wake of the club releasing its latest photoshoot.
Among the new faces in the photographs was defender William Saliba. The former Saint-Etienne man is preparing for his Premier League debut, but it was one of his poses that caught the eagle eye of Arsenal fans.
Saliba was pointing to his wrist as if tapping a watch, which some have interpreted as him signifying a countdown of sorts.
