Arsenal fans think Gabriel Martinelli has dropped a huge selection hint for Sheffield United

Arsenal fans believe that Gabriel Martinelli has dropped a hint that he will be in the starting line up for tonight's game against Sheffield United.

The Brazilian youngster has not been able to force his way into the Gunners side on a regular basis this season, with a number of injuries disrupting him, as well as a long stint on the bench.

The Gunners have not been in great form, with just one win in their last four Premier League games, and the underwhelming season so far leaves them 11th in the table ahead of the game against bottom side Sheffield United.

In the build up to that game, it looks as if Arsenal will also be without captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with the Gabon international suffering from the flu.

As well as Aubameyang, the likes of Emile Smith Rowe and Martin Odegaard are doubts with ankle injuries, leaving potential spaces in the starting XI open for Martinelli.

And Arsenal fans believe the young star has hinted that he will be included in the side over on his personal Instagram account.

Users on Twitter noticed the post, which simply reads: "Focus", and Gunners fans are hoping that the 19-year-old will finally take a place in the starting line up once more in the Premier League.

@giothenomad: My son is starting tomorrow. Go on and get your brace son.

@mahamed_654: need you to start tomorrow.

@david_dein_fc: Madness incoming.

@trobbo: You got this. Goals are going to flow #moregametime

A win for Arsenal would take them level on points with Leeds in ninth place, with a game in hand over Marcelo Bielsa's team following their unexpected win against Manchester City on Saturday afternoon.
