Arsenal fans spotted what Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang did in surprise Brentford defeat

Arsenal were beaten 3-2 by Championship outfit Brentford on Wednesday at the Emirates Stadium.

The hosts had actually lead twice through Joe Willock and Alexandre Lacazette, but individual and collective mistakes gifted the Bees three well-taken goals in the second half.

However, one Gunners supporter has found one positive moment from the friendly.

With the game goalless, captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang produced a brilliant piece of skill to bamboozle his marker before getting his shot away.

The moment was spotted and uploaded to Twitter by @aviv_lavi.

Despite the fact that Aubameyang didn't manage to score and Arsenal went on to lose the game, a portion of fans were very impressed with the 30-year-old.

One even suggested that practicing skills before kick-off was the real reason for the surprise defeat.

Speaking about the game, Gunners head coach Mikel Arteta opted to focus on what went right for his side.

"We are trying different things. We are trying to give minutes in the legs to all the players and obviously you have to make changes in the games," he said on the Sky Sports Football Show.

"Getting adapted to playing in an empty stadium and without noise from the fans as well.

"But it was good.

"We have two friendlies and you get a little bit the rhythm because we haven’t played for a while and we try to make it close as possible to a real game."
