Arsenal fans sing praises of one man after opener against Frankfurt - and it is not Aubameyang

Arsenal fans are singing the praises of Gabriel Martinelli after his impact against Eintracht Frankfurt this evening (Thursday).

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gave the Gunners the lead just before the break at the Emirates Stadium, crashing the ball home off the underside of the crossbar to put Unai Emery's side in front against the Bundesliga side.

But while the Gunners striker was the man to finish off the move, some Arsenal fans have been quick to recognise the contribution of the young Brazilian player in the goal.

Bukayo Saka played the ball out wide to Martinelli, with the Brazilian laying on the assist for Aubameyang as he took on the Frankfurt defender before delivering the ball into the box.

It continues Martinelli's impressive form in the Europa League, having scored three goals in Arsenal's two previous home games in the group stage of the competition, including a brace against Standard Liege.

Unai Emery on his future

In total, he has scored seven goals in his ten games so far this season for the Gunners, including a brace against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup.

And some Arsenal fans have heaped praise on the teenager on social media, as can be seen below.
