Arsenal fans share Gabriel Magalhaes announcement theory after video emerges on social media

Arsenal are on the verge of announcing their second signing of the summer transfer window.

The Gunners have already secured the signing of Willian, who has put pen to paper on a three-year contract at the Emirates Stadium after the expiry of his deal at Stamford Bridge at the end of the 2019/20 season.

As well as strengthening the attacking side of the squad, Mikel Arteta has been keen on adding defensive reinforcements throughout the transfer window.

And the Arsenal boss is about to get what he wants with Brazilian centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes having completed a medical ahead of a £25 million move to the club from Lille.

Gabriel Magalhães: In profile

The Gunners had a lot of competition for the defender in the shape of Napoli and Manchester United, but Gabriel is said to have opted for a move to Arsenal after being impressed by Mikel Arteta.

As Arsenal fans wait for official confirmation of the news, there has been a video circulating on social media that appears to show somebody posing for a photoshoot in the club’s away strip.

There was debate over who it could be, with some suggesting that it is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang while others are convinced it’s Gabriel.

After the emergence of another video, some remained convinced that a double announcement is on it’s way.

There still remains uncertainty over who it is in the pictures and videos taken at the Emirates Stadium.

It has emerged that the filming could have been for a music video that is being shot inside of the stadium.

If it is Gabriel or not, an announcement over Arsenal’s capture of the centre-back is expected in the next few days.
