Arsenal fans sent into transfer frenzy after spotting £34m target's two-word Instagram message

Tyler Adams has sent some Arsenal fans into a transfer frenzy.

The Gunners' search for a new right-back has seen them linked with a move for the RB Leipzig star

According to The Athletic, Adams is seen as an addition that could potentially plug a number of gaps in Mikel Arteta's squad - including both in central midfield and at right-back.

Furthermore, according to CBS, the Arsenal manager and technical director Edu might well have been handed encouragement in their attempts to sign Adams with the news that he has a release clause inserted in his contract at the Red Bull Arena,

Whilst the value of that clause has not been disclosed, it could make a summer deal more straightforward, as the Gunners would not need to enter negotiations with the Bundesliga outfit.

Interestingly, Adams' estimated transfer value on CIES Football Observatory is between €40m-€50m (£34m-£42m).

Therefore, if the release clause is lower than the aforementioned valuation, it could be a good idea to activate it as soon as possible as the Gunners could be getting themselves a bargain.

But is Adams teasing a move to the Emirates Stadium?

That could well be the case as Arsenal fans have taken to Reddit to share a theory after the 22-year-old's uploaded an interesting post on his official Instagram account.

As seen in the image above, Adams shared a video of Emile Smith Rowe - his former teammate at Leipzig - with a two-word message that read: "My Guy".

Of course, this led some Arsenal fans to think a deal will be done this summer.

Legendary_Cheerio said: "He's basically an Arsenal player already."

SchawgBoy said: "Yo I’ve been calling for Adams for years. He could at least bring depth to the CDM and RB spots. I would love to have him."

Successful_Tip1361 said: "It'd be awesome to watch him succeed at Arsenal."
