Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has caused a stir among Arsenal supporters on social media after posting a picture on Twitter.
The highly-rated teenager has previously been linked with the Gunners after his breakout season in France last year.
Camavinga became the first player born in 2002 to make his debut in the top five European leagues, with reports in France claiming that both Arsenal and Tottenham made bids for the 17-year-old.
The French side faced Arsenal last season in the Europa League round of 16, with the Gunners winning 4-3 on aggregate after overturning a first-leg deficit.
Camavinga was not involved in either tie, but the magnitude of his club facing the north Londoners in a knock-out European tie was not lost upon him.
With all games in France suspended due to the global coronavirus outbreak, Camavinga took the opportunity to upload a picture on Twitter of himself spending time with his family.
The image showed the 17-year-old sitting in his bedroom playing video games with his brothers, with the caption: 'Enjoy the good times and take care of your families!
'My brother is still young to play fifa. Smiling face with open mouth and cold sweat we know the technique.'
But Arsenal supporters noticed a poster on the wall, which commemorated Rennes' clash with the Gunners last year.
And fans responded with tweets urging the youngster to move to the Emirates: 'Come to Arsenal,' and 'Another French Arsenal fan? Wenger’s influence is unmatched.'
Rennes manager, Julien Stephan, outlined the youngster's strengths and weaknesses when speaking last season.
"In the recovery of the ball, he is very good," Stephan said, as per Ouest-France. "He is able to spring in the feet of the opponent. He has a good volume of play.
"He also has legs to project himself, a rather interesting technical quality, even if he can still improve his long game. Its striking quality, too, can be improved.
"And then his right foot must be worked, it's a left almost exclusive for the moment.
"But he already has a lot of qualities and it makes sense that at 16, it is not a finished product."
