Arsenal fans send message to Unai Emery after Aaron Ramsey scored on full Juventus debut

Aaron Ramsey scored just 30 minutes into his full Juventus debut following his summer move from Arsenal .

Ramsey, 28, left Arsenal for Juventus in the summer, joining the Italian champions on a free transfer after his contract expired.

He joined the club with an injury problem and has been made to wait to take to the field for the Serie A giants.

Ramsey came off the bench against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League in midweek but was handed a start against Verona by Maurizio Sarri.

And he announced himself to his new supporters during the first half.

Juve were stunned early on by their opponents, who had missed from the spot moments earlier.

But Miguel Veloso fired in to give Verona a shock lead in Turin.

That lasted all of 10 minutes though as Juve drew level, courtesy of Ramsey.

Cristiano Ronaldo teed up the Welshman, whose shot from the edge of the box was deflected into the net.

Ramsey played just over an hour for Juve on his return to the starting line-up before being replaced by Sami Khedira.

The Welshman enjoyed a fine first half, impressing on and off the ball, but tired before being withdrawn.

Cristiano Ronaldo secured the win for Maurizio Sarri's men with a penalty early in the second half.

Verona had young defender Marash Kumbulla dismissed in added time.

Unsurprisingly, Arsenal fans were quick to react to the goal and criticise Unai Emery for letting him go.

Emery is believed to have decided Ramsey did not fit into his vision of how Arsenal will play and felt it was the right time for all parties to let him go.

But many Arsenal fans think he can still do a job, shown by his goal on his full debut.

Arsenal return to action against Aston Villa at the Emirates on Sunday.

The Gunners bounced back from their disappointing draw at Watford to beat Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 in the Europa League on Thursday.
