Arsenal fans send message to Unai Emery as Gunners struggle at Newcastle

Arsenal fans are not happy at Newcastle.

Whether the Gunners supporters are inside the stadium at St James' Park, or watching the clash at home on TV, they have not been happy with what they have seen.

The first half in the north east ended goalless, with neither side really getting into their stride.

Newcastle had the better of the opening exchanges, with Miguel Almiron's pace worrying the Arsenal defence, while Joelinton glanced a header just wide and Jonjo Shelvey cracked the post with an effort.

At the other end Henrkih Mkhitaryan wasted Arsenal's best chance, blazing over the bar, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang tested Martin Dubravka with a volley.

The Gunners supporters were not impressed with the starting lineup Unai Emery named, with new signings David Luiz, Dani Ceballos, Nicolas Pepe and Gabriel Martinelli all on the bench, alongside Alexandre Lacazatte.

Youngsters Reiss Nelson and Joe Willcok were given the nod, but the lineup did no perform as well as the fans will have wanted.

And they sent Emery a message on Twitter at half-time, calling for the head coach to make changes.

Will we see changes at half-time?
