The fallout from Arsenal's draw against Manchester United continues.
Having fallen behind to Scott McTominay's deflected effort on the stroke of half-time, the north London outfit fought back in the second half and had Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to thank for sealing a point.
Although, given the Red Devils' struggles this season, many Gunners fans may regard the game as another missed opportunity to end their Old Trafford hoodoo in the Premier League which will continue into a 14th year.
Speaking at the game, head coach admitted his side wanted all three points.
"Fifty-fifty. We wanted to win, we thought it was a good opportunity to achieve three points. After the 90 minutes it was a fair result for both," Emery said in his post-match press conference.
"That result can be a good point if we win on Sunday against Bournemouth at home. But really there were positive things. We'll analyse them. There are things to improve.
"Some players gave one step more ahead, Bukayo [Saka]. As a team we were better, more competitive. Offensively in some moments maybe we could do better to create more chances.
"We had some moments in the match after 1-1, the chances we had with Bukayo for the second goal, it's our moment. They were pushing, they had a chance to score with the header.
"But at the end we finished in their box having the last chances with Reiss Nelson and a very good action with [Joe] Willock."

With that said, not all connected to the north London outfit are convinced that Emery wanted to win.
Some eagle-eyed Arsenal fans on Twitter spotted Emery's jubilant mood at the final whistle, prompting a theory that the Spaniard set out to get a point.
