Arsenal fans noticed what Kieran Tierney did in training ahead of Rapid Vienna trip

Arsenal have completed their final preparations for Thursday evening's clash against Rapid Vienna.

With that said, conditions were difficult at London Colney before Mikel Arteta's squad - minus the likes of Mesut Ozil and Sokratis - flew to Austria for the big game.

This was reflected in the Arsenal training session on Wednesday afternoon ahead of matchday one in the Europa League as a number of the players were sporting jumpers in a bid to fight off the cold weather.

Four significant omissions from Arsenal's Europa League squad

However, once again Kieran Tierney was the sole exception.

Instead of wearing the club's winter training tops, the Scotland international braved the cold weather by adopting the t-shirt and shorts attire.

This was captured on video by HaytersTV in their Arsenal training session clip uploaded to YouTube and it didn't go unnoticed by a number of Gunners supporters.

Mij R said: "You gotta love Tierney the scot. 'No need for the long sleeve, chuck me that pink t shirt'.

Pray D said: "KT didn’t read a group chat."

Vaibhav Roy said: "Tierney's dressed for a session in Dubai."

Tierney has recently explained why he opts to avoid training in a jumper and the reason is quite brilliant.

"The rest of them are all snooded-up, wearing hats and the rest of it," he said, as per Sky Sports. "But the winter down here is nothing compared to the winter in Scotland.

"It's not even cold down here. You should see the weather in Scotland, then we'll talk.

"People always say, 'why aren't you training in a jumper?' but I never play in a jumper on a Saturday, so it makes sense to wear the same attire in training.

"I don't mean anything by it, it's just what I feel comfortable in.”
