Arsenal fans noticed what happened between Partey, Pepe and Smith Rowe against Watford

It's back-to-back 4-1 wins for Arsenal as preparations for the new season continue.

Four days after beating Millwall at London Colney, the Gunners beat Watford by the same scoreline with Eddie Nketiah, Alexandre Lacazette, Kieran Tierney and Miguel Azeez all on the scoresheet.

Of course, the results aren't the most important factor at this stage in pre-season, but it's still nice to see Arsenal score eight goals in two games regardless of the opposition.

Furthermore, Gunners manager Mikel Arteta will have learned a lot of lessons about the current squad at his disposal with summer signings Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares showing their class.

Another positive from the game against Watford has been spotted by Arsenal fans on Reddit.

Whilst it didn't lead to a goal, supporters were impressed by some nice interplay between Nicolas Pepe and Emile Smith Rowe that eventually saw Thomas Partey smash an effort over the bar.

Judging by the response from Gunners fans, it's the type of play they want to see more of from the attacking players moving forward.

Although, some have called for Smith Rowe and Partey, in particular, to be more clinical in front of goal.

bcereus63 said: "ESR should have shot."

jimdontcare said: "Loved Pepe right after motioning at Partey about the size of the open space goal that he missed."

spicynicy said: "I really want a preseason Partey goal so he gets off the mark and scores 10 bangers this season."

mildlyinterested1 said: "One of these days Parteys shot will finally go in and it'll be an amazing goal."
