Arsenal are off to a great start in the Europa League.
Having been comfortably beaten in last season's final against Chelsea, the Gunners are looking to go one better this term which would guarantee their return to the Champions League in 2020.
Furthermore, a response was needed following the 2-2 draw with Watford at the weekend where they let a two-goal lead slip in the second half.
Facing an Eintracht Frankurt side who had a brilliant home record in the competition prior to kick-off, Unai Emery would have known his team were in for a tough game.
Although, the Spaniard placed his faith in youth by handing starts to Bukayo Saka, Joe Willock and Emile Smith Rowe.
There was also two changes in defence with Calum Chambers starting at right-back in place of Ainsley Maitland-Niles and a recall for Shkodran Mustafi in central defence.
Goals from Willock, Saka and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ensured Arsenal became the first English team to win away at Frankfurt in five attempts.
Not even the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea could manage this feat.
And most importantly the Gunners kept a clean sheet.
When the starting line-up was announced and it was Mustafi partnering David Luiz at the heart of the Arsenal defence, perhaps not too many fans would have predicted a second clean sheet of the season was imminent.
In truth, Frankfurt created numerous chances to get on the scoresheet but couldn't find a way past Emiliano Martinez.
And the majority of the reaction on Twitter has centred around Mustafi keeping a clean sheet on his return to the Arsenal starting XI.
