Arsenal fans noticed what Dani Ceballos did after Alexandre Lacazette's first goal vs West Brom

Arsenal produced arguably their most impressive performance of the season to date under Mikel Arteta against West Brom on Saturday night.

Kieran Tierney broke the deadlock at the Hawthorns with a brilliant solo effort, before Bukayo Saka combined with Emile Smith Rowe to round off a flowing move to give the Gunners a 2-0 lead at the break.

Alexandre Lacazette continued his recent improvement with a brace in the second half to ensure Arsenal secured a third straight win in the Premier League and moved up to 11th in the table

After being mentioned as potential relegation candidates just a couple of weeks ago, there is now renewed optimism surrounding the north London outfit from fans, manager Mikel Arteta and the national media.

What is likely to happen in Arsenal's transfer window?

Most of the reaction following the game has centered around the performances of the two goalscorers as well as Smith Rowe.

But some supporters Arsenal fans have spotted how Dani Ceballos reacted to one of the goals.

The Spaniard was recalled to the starting XI for the first time since the 4-1 EFL Carabao Cup defeat at the hands of Manchester City as he partnered Granit Xhaka in central midfield.

Despite the visitors leading 2-0 early in the second half, Ceballos clearly didn't think the game was over - as proven in his celebration when Lacazette scored to effectively put the fixture out of the Baggies' reach.

As spotted by fans on Reddit, the midfielder dropped to his knees and passionately celebrated the Frenchman making it 3-0.

This moment prompted a lot of chatter amongst the fanbase...

GetPhkt said: "Every goal is like a world cup winner for Ceballos."

ishouldbeworkingalot said: "I saw this! Love the passion he has for the club even though he's a loanee! Definitely wouldn't mind signing him as a solid squad player! I think people forget he's only 24 as well!"

Mahoganychicken said: "That is an Arsenal fan. Don’t see passion like that from many players, let alone loanees."

Big_Moist27 said: "Ceballos wears his heart on his sleeve and can be a bit of a wildcard, this is why I’m fond of him and happy he’s at the club (even if he’s just on loan)!"

Ceballos wasn't alone in his happiness for Lacazette as Arteta praised the striker in his post-match press conference.

"Laca is in a great moment he’s scored I think five in the last four games," the Arsenal boss said. "It’s what we need from our strikers as well. Auba has some chances today he could have scored the same in the last game or so.

"I am so pleased because I thought in the final third we looked lively. There is a lot of movement, there is good energy, there is a real purpose, everybody’s playing forward. It’s like we are freer to play there. And The understanding is coming to generate a lot of things there."
