Arsenal fans noticed what Alexandre Lacazette did after Gabriel Martinelli's goal vs Chelsea

Gabriel Martinelli was one of Arsenal's heroes against Chelsea on Tuesday night.

Trailing by a goal thanks to Jorginho's first-half penalty and a man down following David Luiz's straight red card for bringing down Tammy Abraham in the area, the Gunners got back on level terms thanks to the Brazilian wonderkid.

Taking full advantage of N'Golo Kante's timely slip, Martinelli ended up running 60 yards with the ball at his feet and had the composure to slot the ball beyond Kepa Arrizabalaga.

That was the Gunners' first shot on target all night and in the end they had to dig in to come away from Stamford Bridge with a point as Hector Bellerin scored their second equaliser after Cesar Azpilicueta had put the Blues 2-1 up minutes before.

Most of the praise has landed at the feet of Martinelli.

Following the game in west London, Gunners legend Martin Keown made a huge prediction about the teenager.

"The Martinelli goal, that encapsulates the newfound spirit that is among Arsenal. That young man, honestly, he has the club in the palm of his hands," he told BT Sport. "He can take it wherever he wants to.

"He was everywhere tonight, the youngest player on the pitch and he's showing the way for all the other senior players.

"It's really encouraging watching it.

"I was here in 1999 where Nwankwo Kanu scored three goals to get Arsenal back into to win a game that they never should have won and that looked dead and buried where they were down to 10 men, somehow they found a way to get back into it.”

After equalising against the Blues, Martinelli celebrated right in front of the travelling supporters at Stamford Bridge.

He was soon joined by Alexandre Lacazette who mimicked his folding of the arms.

However, some Arsenal fans weren't too impressed with the Frenchman.
