Arsenal fans noticed a 'new signing' on the teamsheet before Bournemouth game and make same joke

Arsenal have beaten Bournemouth 1-0 thanks to a first half goal from David Luiz.

The victory over Eddie Howe's side means the Gunners move to third in the Premier League, just a point behind Manchester City who were beaten 2-0 by Wolves at the Etihad.

Bournemouth threatened an equaliser in the second half, with Callum Wilson and Dominic Solanke going close, but Luiz's first goal for Arsenal was enough for the three points.

The Brazilian headed in from a Nicolas Pepe cross, with the Ivorian winger picking up his second assist of the season.

Unai Emery resisted calls from fans to start Gabriel Martinelli over Pepe, despite the Brazilian forward's impressive form in midweek.

And Pepe was named on the teamsheet before the game - or was he?

Eagle-eyed fans watching Sky Sports News spotted a mistake when the channel displayed Arsenal's starting XI.

Pepe was included, but his name was mis spelt as 'Pete' on the graphic.

This lead to plenty of fans taking to social media to joke about the slight typo, and muse about who 'Pete' actually was.
