Arsenal fans notice what Tierney, Guendouzi and Bellerin did vs Standard Liege

Arsenal go into their weekend's Premier League match against Bournemouth on Sunday on a high after picking up their second Europa League win of the season with a comprehensive victory over Belgian side Standard Liege on Thursday Evening.

Goals from Joe Willock and Dani Ceballos added to a double from Gabriel Martinelli to give Unai Emery's men a 4-0 win and ensured their perfect start in Europe. The Gunners have now scored seven goals without reply in their opening two games after a 3-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the first game.

While the result is the main positive from the game, the performances of Arsenal's young guns are leaving supporters feeling very optimistic over what the future could hold for the club.

One clip in particular has caught the eye of Arsenal fans.

In the closing stages of the games, a foul on double goalscorer Martinelli left the Brazilian on the floor, something which the Standard Liege defender didn't take too kindly to.

As the defender leans down to talk to the forward, Kieran Tierney, Matteo Guendouzi and captain for the night Hector Bellerin are the three Arsenal players on the scene in order to defend their teammate, something that has gone down well with Gunners' fans, with some claiming that the actions show that the trio could be future captains of the club.

The situation was quickly dealt with by the referee, with the Standard Liege defender being shown a yellow card.

Both Tierney and Bellerin will be hoping to feature for the first time in the Premier League this season after returning from injury when Arsenal take on Bournemouth on Sunday.
