Arsenal fans make the same joke ahead of the Carabao Cup fourth round draw

Arsenal will find out their opponents for the fourth round of the Carabao Cup draw later tonight.

The Gunners eased past Championship side Nottingham Forest on Tuesday evening, goals from Rob Holding, Joe Willock, Reiss Nelson and a brace from summer arrival Gabriel Martinelli, giving Unai Emery's men a comfortable 5-0 win and ensured their passage into the next round.

But not every club enjoyed as much success in their aim of pushing aside opposition from a lower league.

Arsenal's north London rivals Tottenham were taken to penalties when they took on League Two side Colchester United at the Colchester Community Stadium.

Both Christian Eriksen and Lucas Moura's missed penalties meant that Tottenham's hopes of lifting the League Cup this season were dashed at the first step, with their opponents celebrating one of the shock results of the round.

Colchester and Arsenal will be included in the fourth round draw, which will take place tonight, where they will find out their next fixtures.

Ahead of the draw, Arsenal's official Twitter account poised the question of who Gunners' fans would like to face in the next round.

Supporters were quick to answer, with a lot of fans taking the opportunity to mock their rivals, who will now be dusting themselves down ahead of the Premier League fixture against Southampton.

The Fourth Round draw of the Carabao Cup will take place on the conclusion of the third round tie of MK Dons vs Liverpool, and you can follow it live here.
