Arsenal fans love what Santi Cazorla said after being spotted in the stands for Valencia clash

Santi Cazorla remains a popular figure for Arsenal fans - and the Spaniard continues to endear himself to the Gunners supporters, even though he is no longer at the club.

The Spaniard spent six years with the Gunners after joining from Malaga in 2012, scoring 25 Premier League goals in 129 appearances during his time in north London, before he left the club last summer, rejoining La Liga side Villareal.

He was plagued by injuries towards the end of his time at Arsenal, robbing the Gunners supporters of seeing the diminutive midfielder in action for large chunks of the last two seasons of his spell in north London.

But he is still loved by Arsenal fans, and the sight of Cazorla in the stands at the Mestalla Stadium last night (Thursday) for the second leg of the Gunners' Europa League semi-final with Valencia went down well with supporters.

Arsenal posted about Cazorla's presence in the stadium on Instagram, with the post, which can be seen below, liked by more than 368,000 people, including several of the Spaniard's former team-mates.

And Cazorla himself responded to the post, writing: "Thank you My friends you know that I will be gooner forever. Good luck in the final. Come on."

Glenn Hoddle makes bold Europa League finals prediction after Arsenal and Chelsea progress

Unsurprisingly, his post has gone down well with Arsenal supporters, who have been full of praise for the 34-year-old, as can be seen below.
