He has been in and out of Unai Emery's side but showed his quality is still there with a breathtaking assist in the Gunners' 3-2 win over Al-Nasr in a friendly in Dubai.
The German star flicked a delightful flick into the path of Alexandre Lacazette, who fired the ball into the back of the net to give his side a 2-1 lead in the 51st minute.
It was a neat bit of skill from Ozil to give them the lead after they had initially fallen 1-0 behind in the early stages - and Arsenal fans loved the show of class from their playmaker.

Whilst he sometimes struggled to impose himself on an energised Nasr side, his cheeky flick for the Lacazette goal gave them a glimpse of the German at his sensational best.

Gunners fans will be hoping to see more Ozil magic as they resume their battle for the Premier League top four with a home clash with Newcastle at the Emirates next Monday.
Emery's side currently sit fourth in the table, just one point behind rivals Tottenham and two clear of Manchester United .
