Arsenal fans love what Ian Wright is wearing for Tottenham's FA Cup clash with Marine

Arsenal fans are going nuts on social media over Ian Wright's cheeky antics during his punditry duties with BBC.

Wright is one of the pundits this afternoon for Tottenham's FA Cup third-round clash with eighth-tier outfit Marin e at Rossett Park, on Merseyside.

And Arsenal fans were left delighted when Wright appeared on camera with a Marine hat, apparently supporting the non-league club in their bid to pull off a giant-killing against Jose Mourinho 's Spurs.

Wright is, of course, unapologetically an Arsenal fan and he makes no bones about it during his punditry duties, nor about his dislike for rivals Tottenham when he can squeeze it on on the air.

During his punditry ahead of the game, Wright spoke about his conversation with Marine boss Neil Young, he said: “I spoke to him on Friday, to be honest, I was talking about myself.

"I said to him to let the guys understand what their opportunity is. We’re not expecting them to have a lot of the ball, but I told them about a couple of set-pieces that Spurs might do that he might be able to take advantage of.

"We had a really good laugh, he’s a good lad.”

Arsenal fans, however, were far too distracted by their former striker's hat to take any notice of those comments. Here is what some Gunners fans have had to say on social media.

Marine have had to win six games to reach this stage of the competition, defeating Colchester United and Havant and Waterlooville in the last two rounds.

Their reward is this glamorous tie with Spurs and Mourinho has duly paid the non-league side plenty of respect by putting out a strong team featuring a number of first-team stars.
