Arsenal fans love what Ian Wright did next to Ryan Giggs during victory over Manchester United

Mikel Arteta's Arsenal side put in a dominant display in the opening 45 minutes of the Premier League clash against Manchester United.

The Gunners took the lead inside the opening 10 minutes through Nicolas Pepe, who finished off a stunning Arsenal move.

It was a lead that Arsenal never relinquished, with Sokratis adding to the scoreline before half-time. The centre-back pounced to volley home from short range after David de Gea parried a header from Alexandre Lacazette.

Arsenal went into the break two goals to the good, and left the pitch to a great reception from the home fans.

One Gooner could not hide his pleasure at the display from Arteta's side - even if he was on punditry duty.

Ian Wright was alongside Wales manager (and former Manchester United star) Ryan Giggs to cover the broadcast, and was beaming from ear to ear.

The former Arsenal striker is a huge fan favourite, and supporters - and the official club account - came out in force to respond to Wrighty's cheeky photo.

The Gunners came out for the second half and held firm despite some early pressure from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.

They managed to keep a clean sheet and pick up Arteta's first ever win as a manager, one that he will not be forgetting for some time.
