Arsenal fans love what Bernd Leno did to Manchester United's Daniel James on FIFA 20

Footballers are having to keep busy during what would have been an important part of the season.

The Premier League - just like many leagues from across Europe - has been suspended because of the coronavirus outbreak and there's talk of the competition not resuming until July.

Furthermore, the UK is one of several countries on a lockdown which means players are training at home amid the government's advice not to travel unless being a key worker.

Premier League consider 'World Cup-style camp' to finish season

To pass the time, Instagram lives and playing FIFA 20 have been popular choices amongst players.

Over the weekend, Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang took part in the former and dropped a massive hint regarding his future in a conversation with ex-Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.

Meanwhile, Spurs wonderkid Ryan Sessegnon beat West Ham United's Michail Antonio on FIFA as the pair ensured the London derby which was supposed to take place in real life went ahead in an alternative universe.

And Gunners goalkeeper Bernd Leno as well as Manchester United's Daniel James have since followed suit.

Playing as their respective clubs, the pair clashed on FIFA 20 - thus renewing the Arsenal vs Man United rivalry in some capacity.

The game was shown via 433's Instagram account and it was Leno who emerged victorious.

As seen via the clip above, Leno's Arsenal side won the game 3-1.

This was even after falling behind when Paul Pogba broke the deadlock, but the Gunners and Leno recovered thanks to second half goals from Alexandre Lacazette, Nicolas Pepe and Mesut Ozil.

It's safe to say Arsenal fans loved the fact that Leno was able to get one over on Man United via beating James.

One supporter on Reddit said: "I’m taking any and all wins I can get at this point, so thank you!"

Another said: "Love Leno’s passion even in a game like this."
