Freddie Ljungberg's comments about his coaching staff has got Arsenal fans talking.
The Gunners legend was appointed as interim head coach following the club's decision to part company with Unai Emery a fortnight ago, but the Swede is feeling the burden of not having much experience on the bench.
With the Spaniard being sacked, five members of the coaching staff departed with him
That's left Ljungberg with Academy manager Per Mertesacker as his assistant and has been told he will not be able to appoint a coaching team until a decision has been made on the next manager.
"The club have said I have to wait until they make a decision, so yeah, I can't do anything at the moment," Ljungberg told football.london. "I have Per [Mertesacker] but at the same time he is academy manager but he is helping me with the coaching.
"The club has said when they make a decision then that's it or I'm obviously leaving or maybe then we can do something with the staff. But it's up to the club."
"If you look at the person who was here before [Emery], he had a lot of staff and maybe I don't have so many.
"So if you keep on going like that for months and months, it's not so easy.
"But that's totally up to the club."
This admission has prompted a theory among some Arsenal supporters.
Many of which think the reason Ljungberg won't be able to appoint his own coaching staff is because the club are preparing to appoint a new manager who will arrive at the Emirates Stadium with his own team assembled.
