Arsenal fans have been hailing the club's Head of Football Raul Sanllehi as they close in on Nicolas Pepe from Lillie.
The Gunners are in discussions with the French side to sign the Ivory Coast winger for €80m - paid by instalments to fit the north London club's budget.
Pepe is expected to sign a five-year-deal at the Emirates, with the Gunners beating off Napoli to secure the 24-year-old's signature.
Pepe will be the club's third signing this summer, with Daniel Ceballos joining on loan from Real Madrid and William Saliba joining from Saint-Etienne, although Saliba will spend next season on loan with the French side, while football.london also believe that a deal for Kieran Tierney is still viable.
It's a far cry from a couple of weeks ago when Gunners fans were growing restless of their side's lack of transfer activity, but now those same fans have smiles on their faces and they know who is to thank.
