Arsenal fans' four-word message to Tammy Abraham amid talk of £40m transfer spotted on Instagram

Some Arsenal fans have taken matters into their own hands regarding reported interest in Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.

This week, The Sun claimed that the Gunners were close to agreeing an initial loan deal for the 23-year-old, with the obligation to make the deal permanent next summer for £40million.

However, this report has since been denied by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano who claims that Arsenal are 'currently not in advanced talks' to sign Abraham.

But talk of a switch to the Emirates Stadium refuses to go away, especially with the Blues hopeful of signing Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund before deadline day.

The reaction from Arsenal fans to the Abraham links has been mixed, to say the least. Those against signing the Chelsea striker are mainly concerned about what it would mean for the development of Gabriel Martinelli and Folarin Balogun next season.

Although there are a few that are quite excited about the idea of possibly exposing their west London rivals' biggest transfer flaw.

As spotted by Rising Ballers on Instagram, some Arsenal fans out in Ireland had a simple four-word message for the Blues striker which confirms their stance on a potential summer deal.

"Come to Arsenal Tammy," was the message.

However, football.london's Arsenal correspondent Chris Wheatley poured cold water over the Abraham links during his Q&A with supporters on Friday.

"I’m not personally convinced by those Tammy Abraham links," he said. "There’s nothing really concrete there with Abraham at the moment. It wouldn’t surprise me if he goes to another Premier League team.

"Arsenal have plenty of forwards and I don’t see Abraham being a priority at this stage of the window. Eddie Nketiah is a player who is likely to be sold, we know for sure that Arsenal want to sell Nketiah this summer."
