Arsenal midfielder Joe Willock is off to a flying start at Newcastle United after scoring on his debut.
Willock was handed a start today for the Magpies' home clash with Southampton having joined on a loan deal until the end of the season on deadline day.
And he has wasted no time making an impression, scoring the opener after just 16 minutes in what could be a vital goal for Newcastle as they battle against the drop.
The 21-year-old had only scored once in 40 senior league appearances for the Gunners, a total he has already matched at Newcastle with just one appearance.
Arsenal fans are delighted for Willock and they could have done with his influence today with the Gunners losing 1-0 to Aston Villa and struggling in front of goal.
Mikel Arteta's men managed 14 shots but only three of those were on target, failing to recover from Aston Villa's opening goal after just two minutes.
Though, Willock was unlikely to get much game time at Arsenal with Arteta having plenty of options out wide.
The youngster managed just seven league appearances for the Gunners this season before his loan move and that's why he has been sent to Newcastle to continue his development, and what better way to start at a new club than grabbing a goal?
Here's how Arsenal fans have reacted.

Speaking about Willock's loan move, Mikel Arteta told the club website: "We talked in the summer about a possible loan.
“I said to him that I wasn’t comfortable with that because I wanted to give him minutes. He was going to play different competitions and in my opinion it was the right thing to do for his development.
“I think he’s played 17 or 18 games in this period which is a lot. He’s played to a big level.
“Now we have less competitions and I thought he was going to have less time and I thought maybe the best thing was to give him another 14, 15, 16 games in the Premier League to have 30 to 32 games in one season.
“For his age and what he’s done in the last few years, that will be a really positive thing. He can completely agreed. We found the right club, the right manager and coaching staff to do that.
"Hopefully, it’s going to be a really successful period for him.”
