Arsenal fans can't believe what Conor Coady did as Liverpool close in on Invincibles record

Liverpool's 2-1 win over Wolves on Thursday night saw them restore their 16-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

With a game in hand over second placed Manchester City, it's inevitable that the Reds will be crowned champions of England for the first time in 30 years come May.

But can they do so going the whole campaign unbeaten?

It's a feat that has been managed since Arsenal did it in the 2003/04 season and their 49-game unbeaten run is under serious threat from the Merseyside giants.

Nine more games and that record will be equalled, 10 and a new record of 50 would be the new benchmark.

Jurgen Klopp has already stated that he's not too bothered about the unbeaten record as his sole focus is on winning the title after coming so close last season.

"I would have loved that this number is in one season, that would be great," said the German last month. "Last year we were nearly 38 games unbeaten, nearly but was not enough.

"A nice number, but I'm not really interested.

"Since one and a half two years it feels like we have to win each and every game, thank God the boys did it from time to time, so all the wins are really necessary.’

Although, a number of Arsenal supporters are concerned about the unbeaten record slipping away.

So much so that some weren't impressed with Conor Coady- a former Liverpool player - his defending for Roberto Firmino's winner and subsequent smile when the visitors were 2-1 up.

Take a look at what's been said about the Wolves captain on Twitter...
