Arsenal fans call on Gareth Southgate to turn to this man to fix England's defensive problems

England fell to a rare European qualifying defeat on Friday night, as Czech Republic came from behind to claim all three points against Gareth Southgate's team.

An early penalty from Harry Kane put the Three Lions in a positive position in the opening minutes of the game, but defensive frailties again reared their head when the opponents struck from a corner just a few minutes later to draw the score level.

The team continued to look shaky in defence throughout the match and Czech Republic made the most of the weakness with just five minutes of the game to go when substitute Zdenek Ondrasek scored on his international debut to give his nation the win.

The defeat is England's first in qualifiers for 10 years, and means that there is still work to do before the country can look forward to competing in the European qualifiers next summer.

Upon the announcement of the team for the game, there was some disagreement as to who should line up in defence for England.

A poor performance from Michael Keane, who was named alongside Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has led to fans demanding that he does not play the next qualifier against Bulgaria on Monday evening.

Arsene Wenger accepts Legend award

Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori is one name that has been suggested on who should replace the Everton man, but Arsenal fans have another suggestion for future international breaks.

Rob Holding has just returned from injury and is yet to make a Premier League appearance this season, but these fans are convinced that he could be the solution for Gareth Southgate.

Holding will have a chance to impress the England manager when Arsenal take on Sheffield United after the international break.
