Serge Gnabry's one-man show against Chelsea has these Arsenal fans all saying the same thing

Former Arsenal man Serge Gnabry has had a big impact on Bayern Munich's Champions League round of 16 tie against Chelsea.

The Bundesliga club travelled to Stamford Bridge in the hope of taking an advantage back to the Allianz Arena ahead of the second leg in just over three weeks time.

With the score at 0-0 just after the half-time break, Gnabry scored a quick fire brace in the 51st and 54th minute to put the German side in a commanding position in the tie.

Robert Lewandowski added a third for Bayern Munich later in the half as Chelsea face a mountain to climb in the second leg, with Marcos Alonso being shown a straight red card after a VAR review.

Should the score stay the same then Chelsea will need three goals without reply in Germany to make it through to the quarter final of the tournament.

The goals were Gnabry's fifth and sixth of the Champions League campaign this season after he scored four during the 7-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur back in October.

Gnabry spent some of his early career at Arsenal, coming up through the youth system at the Emirates Stadium before being sold to Werder Bremen in the summer of 2016 after an unsuccessful loan move to West Bromwich Albion.

Arsenal fans have been reacting to his goals on social media.

The winger played a total of 18 first team games for Arsenal, scoring one goal and providing two assists.

He scored 11 and provided two assists for Werder Bremen in 27 appearances before moving to Bayern Munich.

The 24-year-old has scored a total of 30 goals in 72 appearances for the German giants as he continues to impress in Germany.
