Arsenal fans are laughing at Man United over Mason Greenwood and Gabriel Martinelli comparison

Mason Greenwood turned in a stunning performance as Manchester United swept aside Bournemouth 5-2 on Saturday afternoon.

The teenager scored two superb goals in the five-star display as United moved into the top four of the Premier League, albeit perhaps only for a matter of hours with Chelsea playing at 8pm.

But while Greenwood was in imperious form, it was a teenager at another club who happened to be trending on social media network Twitter.

Gabriel Martinelli has shone in fits and starts for Arsenal this season, with injuries curtailing his ability to make a big impact on the Premier League.

And the Arsenal and Manchester United supporters have been having a bit of a debate about the two players on Twitter for a number of months now.

The argument appears to be a lesser version of the Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo debate - who is the better teenager?

And while there was plenty of talk from Arsenal supporters about Martinelli, following Greenwood's display, there was a lot of talk from the United fans bringing Martinelli into the equation, with the Red Devils supporters laughing off the Gunners' suggestions that their man is the better teenager.

And that in turn led to a host of Arsenal fans laughing back at United, criticising them for talking about Martinelli when Greenwood had done what he had done.
