Arsenal fans' amazing transfer theory to seal Max Aarons and Yves Bissouma deals and raise £141m

Arsenal will have to be shrewd in the upcoming summer transfer window.

And one supporter, in particular, has a brilliant theory to do exactly that all the while raising the club some money and significantly bolstering Mikel Arteta's first-team squad at the same time.

In recent years the Gunners have been operated on a limited transfer budget and that's unlikely to change with the club set to miss out on European football for the first time in over two decades.

As a result, player sales will be key if Arteta's plan to overhaul the Arsenal first-team squad this summer can continue.

The general feeling among many Arsenal fans is that a right-back and central midfielder should be a priority for technical director Edu this summer and it just so happens that Max Aarons and Yves Bissouma have been linked.

Next on the list would be a new striker and Celtic's Odsonne Edouard is a name that has been mentioned a lot in recent months.

Emi Buendia could also be a target once again if a permanent deal for Martin Odegaard doesn't happen, while Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana has recently emerged as a potential replacement for Bernd Leno.

Having missed out on bringing in cover for Kieran Tierney in the January transfer window, football.london understands that a natural left-back will almost certainly be signed this summer.

Furthermore, Arsenal are reportedly in 'advanced talks' with Brighton to sign goalkeeper Mat Ryan on a permanent basis this summer.

That is seven deals that could end up costing the club £155m.

With that said, one Arsenal fan on Reddit has mapped out how the Gunners could sign all seven players in a dream scenario.

And, as seen in the images above, it would be by cashing in on Leno, Hector Bellerin, Granit Xhaka (if a replacement is found), Alexandre Lacazette, Eddie Nketiah, Lucas Torreira, Matteo Guendouzi, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Sead Kolasinac.

The real brilliance of this theory is that it would raise enough funds for Arsenal to focus on the aforementioned incomings.

£141m to be exact, meaning a net spend of £16m.

If Arsenal listened to the aforementioned supporter and were able to pull off this amazing overhaul then it could be an interesting 2021/22 season at the Emirates Stadium.
