Arsenal supporters have taken to social media to deliver their verdict on Thomas Partey after the midfielder's performance for Ghana on international duty.
Partey, who sealed a £45million move from Atletico Madrid to Arsenal on deadline day, started for his country in their international friendly against Mali on Friday evening.
However, it turned out to be a fixture he will want to forget in a hurry as Ghana were beaten 3-0 win thanks to goals from Hamari Traore, El Bilal Toure, and Amadou Haidara.
Partey played the full 90 minutes against Mali, lining up in a midfield three Bernard Mensah and Alexander Djiku, although there's no suggestion he was at fault for any of the three goals.
Regardless, an Arsenal supporter took to Twitter to review Partey's overall performance for Ghana.
The tweet said : "Thomas Partey vs Mali, 37 Passes completed (78%), possession lost 14, dribbles 2/2, 1 shot, 1 cross, 5 tackles, 4 interceptions, 1 foul.
Next up for Ghana is a clash against Qatar on Monday afternoon before Partey jets to the UK for his first Arsenal training session ahead of potentially making his Premier League debut away at Manchester City next weekend.
Partey has already delivered his verdict on his £45m Arsenal transfer and thanked supporters for their messages.
"Hello, Gunners!" he told Arsenal’s official Instagram channel. "Thanks so much for the love, for the messages I’ve received.
"I can't wait to be part of you guys, I can't wait to join the team.
"It's a great feeling to be part of a family like this. Thanks so much to everyone for the love, I feel so grateful and I feel so amazed to be part of you.
"I can't wait to join you guys.
