Perhaps the biggest Arsenal transfer rumour at the moment surrounds former Atletico Madrid winger Yannick Carrasco .
The Belgium international has reportedly already agreed personal terms with the Gunners and could cost them in the region of £27m - a huge chunk of Emery's apparent budget this summer.
Whether that's true remains to be seen, but as reported by football.london on Monday morning, Arsenal are not in any position to complete any deals at the moment and it could be a while before they get their first piece of business done.
When the first arrival of the summer is confirmed, expect an elaborate announcement from the north London outfit.
As many are aware, the Gunners have an agreement with adidas to replace Puma as the club's new kit sponsor and that comes into effect on July 1 when next season's shirts will officially be revealed.
Therefore, one Arsenal supporter has come up with a brilliant plan should Carrasco be Emery's first signing of the summer window and it includes Mesut Ozil, who is sponsored by adidias.
"July 1st and Arsenal present new kits with Ozil assisting the pen to Carrasco to sign the deal.
"This is type of the announcement we all deserve at some point while Mesut is here.
"Make it happen Arsenal."
Arsenal could need the help of Premier League champions Manchester City in order to seal a deal for Carrasco.
According to reports in German newspaper Bild , Bayern Munich are monitoring the situation with Carrasco , as a back-up plan in case their move for Leroy Sane doesn't go through.
