Arsenal fan group propose brilliant banner to mock Tottenham when Premier League season resumes

Arsenal fans have used the extended break due to the coronavirus pandemic to create a new way to mock their Tottenham counterparts.

Premier League football is currently suspended until April 30 due to the outbreak and it is widely expected that an extension to the restrictions will be announced this week.

With football on hold and fans under lockdown, creative ideas have been floated for when the game returns - and we've identified the best one yet.

REDaction Gooners have stated they are considering setting up a GoFundMe account to create a huge banner of club legend Sol Campbell in his birthday suit especially for the away game against Tottenham.

Campbell, of course, infamously left Tottenham on a free transfer to join Arsene Wenger at Arsenal, where he'd go on to become a club legend.

He lifted numerous titles during his spell at Arsenal, including playing a key part in the Invincibles campaign during the 2003-04 season and scored the Gunners' only goal in the 2-1 Champions League defeat to Barcelona in 2006.

Widely recognised as one of the finest defenders in Arsenal's history, the fact he arrived from their arch-rivals for free provides plenty of opportunities to rub salt into the wounds of their rivals.
