Arsenal maintained their five point lead at the top of the Premier League table with a dramatic 3-2 victory over Bournemouth this weekend. The Gunners fell behind to the second quickest goal in the competition's history when Philip Billing scored after less than 10 seconds, and found themselves two down when Marcos Senesi headed home after the break.
However, goals from Thomas Partey, Ben White and a 97th minute wonderstrike from Reiss Nelson were enough to ensure perhaps the best afternoon the Emirates Stadium has ever seen. Unsurprisingly, with Nelson's contract due to expire at the end of the season, it has become a topic of conversation.
The 23-year-old could be about to get more game time though, after Leandro Trossard sustained a groin injury that is not thought to be serious. This could force Mikel Arteta into some changes for Thursday night's Europa League clash with Sporting CP, however.
