Here are the Arsenal evening headlines on Wednesday, December 30.
Arteta coy on Isco rumours
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has refused to comment on transfer rumours concerning Isco moving to the Emirates Stadium.
Reports are suggesting that the Real Madrid man is a target for the Gunners - who are in the market for a creative midfielder.
Isco is currently out-of-favour in the Spanish capital, with Zinedine Zidane reportedly open to letting the 28-year-old leave the club in January.
However, Arteta has refused to be drawn on the speculation, when speaking after his side's 1-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Tuesday.
The Arsenal boss said: "Obviously we cannot talk about individual players."
Pepe's Arsenal career could be over
Ever since Bukayo Saka burst onto the scene for Arsenal last season, comparisons have been made with fellow winger Nicolas Pepe.
Saka was brilliant once again for the Gunners in their narrow win at Brighton on Tuesday and this does not necessarily bode well for Pepe's career at the club.
Since arriving in north London from Lille last summer, the £72million man has failed to make a serious impression and the emergence of Saka - who is just 19 - will not have helped his chances at all.
Pepe has found game time hard to come by this season under Arteta, and Willian is also being preferred on the right-hand side.

Gunners fans will love Wright's comments
Arsenal legend Ian Wright has waxed lyrical about his former club's trio of Emile Smith Rowe, Saka and Gabriel Martinelli following the side's 1-0 win against Brighton.
The trio all started the game and made a serious impact for the visitors at the Amex Stadium - something Wright was quick to notice, when speaking on Match of the Day.
“The Arsenal fans know all about these guys - Emile Smith Rowe, Saka, Martinelli, but what was brilliant about what they did today, it wasn’t quite working in the first-half, but it’s the bravery they showed," the ex-Gunners striker said.
"They continued to try and get into spaces, and try to stretch Brighton and in the second-half, it worked a lot better. Smith Rowe, his energy, his touch, his fitness. The way they break, it’s fantastic to see.
"This wasn’t happening. It was very slow, it was very negative, very sideways. Saka was fantastic today. He’s literally held the club up on his own for a while with his creativity."
