Eberechi Eze could not hide his delight as he moves one step closer to joining Arsenal.
Standard Sport understands Eze, subject of interest from Arsenal and Tottenham this summer, was due to undergo his Gunners medical on Friday morning after a fee worth £60million upfront, plus £7.5m in add-ons was agreed with Crystal Palace earlier in the week.
As a result, the England international did not feature for Palace in their Conference League play-off first-leg win over Fredrikstad on Thursday night.
However, Eze was in attendance and a clip of the attacking midfielder leaving Selhurst Park has garnered some attention on social media.
As Eze stopped to sign autographs and take photos with Palace fans, he is congratulated on his imminent move to the Emirates Stadium.
The 27-year-old did not give a response, but many eagle-eyed Gunners supporters noticed a massive smile across his face as he made his way out of the ground - for what was likely the final time as a Palace player.

Speaking after Palace’s 1-0 win, chairman Steve Parish confirmed Eze’s exit and paid tribute to the player who scored the winning goal in last season’s FA Cup final, thus sealing the club’s first-ever major trophy.
Paris said: "We have to move past it. "He has been fantastic for the club and we all love him for what he's done and what he's achieved, and we are pleased he will go on to fulfil the other ambitions that he's got."
The expectation is that Eze will finalise his move to Arsenal over the weekend.
