Arsenal attacking duo Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli have both said that West Ham United midfielder Lucas Paqueta is the best dancer in the Brazil squad.
The trio are all in Tite’s Brazil squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar that starts on Sunday, with the five-time World Cup winners in Group G alongside Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon.
Paqueta goes to the tournament just months after joining the Hammers in a £36.7million move that could rise to a club record £52.6million if all add-ons are triggered.

So far, Paqueta has not scored for West Ham, but he has provided three assists in 12 appearances in all competitions, the joint-highest number of any member of David Moyes’ squad alongside fellow summer arrival Maxwel Cornet.
Ahead of the World Cup, Paqueta’s international teammates and Arsenal duo Jesus and Martinelli spoke about the best dancers in Brazil’s squad.
Although West Ham fans have not seen much of Paqueta’ moves yet due to the Hammers’ poor form and the lack of goals he has scored, he has been known for dancing in celebrations while with former club Olympique Lyonnais and Brazil’s national side.
Speaking on his dance moves, Martinelli ranked Paqueta higher than any other member of Brazil’s star-studded squad, including Paris Saint-Germain winger Neymar, Manchester United midfielder Casemiro and Chelsea centre-back Thiago Silva.
“Paqueta (is the best dancer),” Martinelli told Sky Sports. Jesus agreed with Martinelli, saying that Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr was also up there for the best movers in the Brazil squad.
“I would say Paqueta (too), yea Paqueta, yea, yea yea, he would teach everyone (a lesson in a dance-off). He’d teach everyone!” Jesus added. “Vinicius as well, but Paqueta I think is the best.”
The trio could be against each other shortly after the World Cup ends, with West Ham heading to league leaders Arsenal on Boxing Day.
