Arsenal double swoop, Liverpool eye £90m deal, Spurs transfer plans - European rumours

The Premier League season kicks off in under four weeks, with top-flight clubs rushing to conclude their transfer business.

Several of England’s top clubs still have work to do in the summer window as they step up their pre-season preparations for the new campaign.

With that in mind, we’ve collated all the latest rumours and gossip from across Europe.

Arsenal chase Everton

Arsenal representatives have flown out to conclude a deal for Brazilian winger Everton, according to Calciomercato.it.

The winger has been linked with a move from Gremio this summer after playing a huge role in Brazil’s Copa America triumph.

The Gunners remain in pole position for his signature, with AC Milan also linked, with a fee of around €40m on the table.

Could Vazquez join Ceballos at Arsenal?

Should a deal for Everton fall through, AS are reporting that Lucas Vazquez could join Arsenal this summer.

Dani Ceballos is expected to make the move from Real Madrid this summer and his fellow Spanish teammate could join him at the Emirates.

Reports in Spain state London ‘could be his destination, whilst Madrid are desperate to offload fringe players after splurging on Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic.

Liverpool eye German superstar

Jurgen Klopp could be about to make his second summer signing, with the addition of German star Kai Havertz.

The Bayer Leverkusen youngster is one of the hottest properties in the Bundesliga and is valued at around £90m.

According to Bild, Liverpool are interested in the 20-year-old, who scored 20 goals and registered seven assists from attacking midfield.

Bayern Munich and Barcelona are also believed to have the German prodigy on their radars.

Tottenham pursue Rose replacement

Tottenham Hotspur could have already found a replacement for Danny Rose, who looks set to leave the club this summer.

The England left-back was left out of the club’s pre-season tour of Asia as he looks to seal a move away from North London.

According to Calciomercato.it, Spurs will replace Rose with Shakhtar Donetsk left-back Ismaily.

The 29-year-old has a wealth of Champions League experience but did sign a new contract with the club last season.
