Hector Bellerin's representative will meet with Arsenal technical director Edu in London as the Spaniard looks to seal a move away from the club, football.london understands.
The Arsenal defender wants to leave the club this summer and his representative is currently speaking with a number of teams in Italy and Spain, with Inter the frontrunners to land him right now.
Bellerin, who has two years remaining on his current contract, is keen on leaving north London after spending over a decade at the club, but Arsenal are only prepared to let him go on several conditions.
A transfer fee has been demanded although the most likely outcome is a loan deal with an obligation to buy at the end of it, which is where the negotiations are currently at.
“We will act with peace of mind," Inter chief executive Giuseppe Marotta said.
“We cannot make heavy investments and we will act with creativity, trying to seize any opportunities. Many clubs will not be able to spend practically anything.”
Many European teams are struggling to pay significant transfer fees this summer, but Bellerin's desire to play for in Italy may prove pivotal in negotiations over the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Cedric Soares remains determined to fight for his place at Arsenal despite rumours of a potential move to Turkish side Fenerbahce.
Soares has returned to pre-season training in peak physical condition and football.london understands he is in contention to start against Brentford for the first Premier League game of the season next month.
It's also understood that there are no formal offers for the Portuguese international as of today.
