Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney fully fit and ready to play for Scotland after ankle injury

Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney is fully fit and ready to take part in Scotland’s World Cup qualifiers this week.

Tierney has been out of action since October 18 after picking up an ankle injury during a draw with Crystal Palace.

The left-back has slowly been getting back to full fitness and was on the bench for Sunday’s win over Watford.

Tierney did not get on the pitch at Emirates Stadium last weekend, but he has been called up by Scotland and he is ready to play.

The 24-year-old has been training with the national team this week and will hope to play against Moldova on Friday.

“He looked great this morning, full of running. He has been out some time now but he was on the bench at the weekend and he has come into the camp and trained exceptionally well. We don’t see any problems with him,” said Scotland assistant John Carver.
