Exclusive clip: Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin describes feeling after making his comeback from injury

Hector Bellerin has revealed how he felt after making his comeback following a nine-month spell on the sidelines.

The Arsenal vice-captain spoke about his painstaking rehabilitation from an ACL injury in a new nine-part series on his YouTube and Facebook channels.

Bellerin made an appearance against Nottingham Forest during the 5-0 win in the Carabao Cup in which he came on and made an immediate impact after assisting Joe Willock.

Unai Emery, head coach at the time, admitted that Bellerin told him before the game that he was "ready" and "wanted" to play the game, describing Bellerin's cameo appearance as "amazing for him" and praising his attitude.

"It was such a mixture of emotions but at the time I have to say I wasn't even thinking about all that I've gone through," Bellerin said in the new Unseen Journey series.

"I enjoyed every single minute of the few minutes that I played. I couldn't hear any noise. I was so nervous.

"In my head I just remember the feeling of finally walking onto the pitch and feeling those floodlights. Just finally the moment right, the comeback."

Bellerin's team-mates Rob Holding and Kieran Tierney were handed their first starts of the season after returning from injury that night, with Holding explaining the feeling he got when he saw the 25-year-old come on as a substitute in the second half.

"I had goosebumps when they read out [his name] because I knew there would be a response from the fans," Holding said.

"So I was half waiting for the response and as they cheered, I got goosebumps down my back and thought 'that must have felt so good'."
