David Luiz has heaped praise on young Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli and his "great mentality."
The 18-year-old has enjoyed an impressive start to life at Arsenal since his summer move from Ituano, with Martinelli netting seven goals in nine appearances for the Gunners in all competitions.
He has scored four goals in the Carabao Cup, including a brace in the incredible 5-5 draw with Liverpool at Anfield, and three goals in the Europa League, while he has made four appearances in the Premier League so far, without scoring a goal.
But his compatriot Luiz has been impressed with the way Martinelli has adapted to English football, and his approach to the game.
Speaking to 90min.com about his talented young team-mates at Arsenal, Luiz said: “I’m not going to say who is the best talent, but the best mentality at the moment is Martinelli.
"He has a great mentality, it is special, he is a top guy, a top player, but what really impresses me is his mentality on the training ground, and the way he reacts to scoring goals, like at Anfield, and how he continues to work with a great mentality.
“He is taking his opportunity step by step and he has the same focus, determination and respect for everything and he is so mature for his age.”
